  • LCD Backlight

So, I've got an HP w22 LCD monitor sitting around with a slight problem. The backlight and/or inverter for the blasted thing seems to have gone out. It displays a picture, but without the backlight, you can't see it without a flashlight, and then barely just, which is a bit inconvenient. I'm confident I can repair it myself, but I have a bit of a problem, I'm not sure where I can pick up the cold cathode tube/inverter in a 20" size, which is why I ask you fine people. Thank you very much in advance for the help.
Pretend there's something here that sounds insightful, but is really just some pseudo-intellectual bull.

I generally just pick them up off ebay. You can usually get both pieces pretty cheap. Put your model number in and see if you can find a bargain!

Depending on how popular your model is you might get lucky and find an e-bay store that sells it, that is how I found the inverter for my dell laptop. sadly it didn't fix the issue which ment the backlight needed replaced but it was worth the $12 part to hope it was easily fixable.
I'm sorry reading is not a new concept it has been widely taught in our nation for at least the past 100 years. Please, learn to do it CORRECTLY before you become contagious.
