  • itunes help...

    my mother downloaded an album to her desktop computer through itunes and now she can't get it to play. the file extension on it is .tmp

    help on what i need to do to get it to play or do i need to contact itunes directly.

    tmp is short for "temporary", my first guess would be that it's not downloaded properly or not finished downloading. Open iTunes and under Store click downloads

      Yes, I've seen this happen and had it happen. It usually means that there was an issue with the download (bad connection, etc.) and rather than download the whole thing, it paused it, so to speak for a better time to download.
      Random conversation:

      So, by using the Doctor's reasoning, bow ties, fezzes and bandanas are cool.
