PDF help

I may be getting a PDF file containing a city street map and I need to print on paper or select portions of this larger file and drop that into another PDF file.

does anyone know of a program that will allow me to view a large PDF file, crop certain areas of said file and just print or PDF only the cropped portion? This is going to be only a one-off thing so I am not really willing to spend any $$$$'s

You can also just take screenshots (PrintScreen in windows, Cmd+shift 4 in Mac), then open them in a graphics program and print them out

You may be able to export the PDF map as an image file, which you can then edit, crop, etc., as much as you like. I can do that with the full version of Acrobat. I don't know if Acrobat Reader also does that.

Thanks for the suggestions. ^^^ this is exactly what I had to do. ended up with a HUGE jpg file (6x the original PDF file size) but this method worked out well.

Actually, if you have Acrobat you should be able to use the Crop Document option to narrow it down to the portion you want. Print it (DON'T save it), then undo the crop and move on to the next portion.
