I'm talking next year. Your Christmas present this year, is the opportunity to see Christmas next year. I know that it doesn't look like much now. You'll like it better next year.

I see. Right now, it's hard to think that far ahead, as much as I want to. I hope so much that next Christmas, everything will be healthy and joyous.

Hang in there, Eireann. It sounds like it sucks right now, but you can make it though this. I'm going to send you a Christmas card in the exchange next year, too.
"I look at the stars. It's a clear night and the Milky Way seems so near. That's where I'll be going soon. "We are all star stuff." I suddenly remember Delenn's line from Joe's script. Not a bad prospect. I am not afraid. In the meantime, let me close my eyes and sense the beauty around me. And take that breath under the dark sky full of stars. Breathe in. Breathe out. That's all."

I had the first chemo session on Thursday. I took my laptop, a book, my headphones, and some food and drink, since the session was several hours.

I ended up falling asleep for almost the entire time. At least the time passed quickly. Now, I'm tired and my legs hurt, which evidently is common for chemo.

Thank you so much for your support.
