I actually slept through the night last night. First time in 3 days...
My boss got a call at lunch that his father-in-law got a call that they had a kidney for him. So he left early to get his son so his wife and her mom could stay at the hospital. Happened a few months ago and then they found out the organ was not useable. So fingers crossed.I don't go in for ancient wisdom

My bf actually called me at 1 a.m. when I was about to go to bed...we talked for a whileand actually ended up falling asleep on the phone together...I didn't wake up from that until 2:35 a.m.
Set my alarm for 7:50 a.m., but fell back asleep...DAMN good thing my friend texted me to ask if I was going to my Social Psych class!
Woke me up at 8:50--when I have class at 9!

Interesting to come in and find the discussion has turned to sleep.
Went to my ENT yesterday to discuss my snoring/apnea. I have a "sleep study" scheduled for the 18th. I am thinking to myself "How am I going to sleep with all those wires attached to me?"
BE,
Fingers are crossed. I have a good friend whose father went through that.

I suffer from insomnia on a fairly regular basis, and can get by on only 2-3 hours of sleep.
I broke a record at work today! moved 6046 lbs of books. As I said in chat:
good news - no bruised boobies!
bad news - my foot got runned over by a pallet jack...that had a pallet on it weighing about 2000 lbs. >.>

I've been stuck on tofu for a couple days. Fairly cheap (1.79/block) and good protein.
As we recall, I don't measure shit.
Sauce:
Plum sauce
"wasabi mustard" (something I bought at the store. Its essentially horseradish and mustard mixed together
Veggies:
1/2 mushroom
bok choy
green onions
Other:
Bread
Tofu
Heat enough oil to cover the bottom of a pan (and a bit extra) and drop in 1/4" thick piece of tofu. Cook on medium/medium-high for five minutes or until golden brown. In the meantime, mix plum sauce and wasabi mustard together until desired flavor occurs. Spread on the bread. It should be time to flip your tofu, do so carefully. Its wet with juice/water and its in oil, don't kill yourself or start an oil fire. Cut up mushrooms, green onion and bok choy and place on bread. When tofu is golden on the other side, let it drip for a few minutes or press out the excess oil, then add to sammich and eat.

Quoth lupo pazzesco View PostI've never cooked with bok choy. Do you use the white part or the green part??
Sammich came out pretty good. How bread has 5g of protein per slice, I will never be able to figure out.Thou shalt not take the name of thy goddess Whiskey in vain.
