Get a Mr. Boston bartending book. Memorize the major recipes, then fill empty bottles with coloured water, stopper with a pouring spout, and practice a pour count (count of 4 should equal one ounce).

And socializing isn't always necessary. If it's a club, you just have to make drinks and take money.
