I like the movie and one of my first thoughts was wantint to sew myself Annas outfit (but up til 3ish months ago I wore steel boned corsets almost daily so it suited my style)

However I get annoyed with all tie ins. the ones that annoy me the most are basic board games re done with a theme (snakes and ladders, connect 4 etc).

I quite enjoyed the movie, and the merchandising is no different for what you see for any popular movie- remember the merchandising juggernaut that was 'Cars'?

But I can see how working with it every single day would get tiresome.

I would say that it is. Doesn't help that planes is seen as another merchandising grab trying to capitalise off of cars.

You missed a product, at Wallyworld we have Niagra water in a special Frozen package.

I commented on Twitter about how rediculous branding is getting, during baseball season Aquafina was advertising itself as the official water of the seventh inning stretch.

Raise your hand if you've never seen this movie...

And I'm afraid that Disney is going to ruin Star Wars, but look for them to market the crap out of that, too.
Actually they don't have any of the toy rights or any of the rights beyond the actual movies. Lucas kept those. It's why he let them have movie rights. He can market all the materials and do all the merchandise but not have to worry about messing up the movies himself. He kept video game rights as well. Disney can ONLY do movies.

Wouldn't that make it Niagra ice instead of Niagra water?

Is there a rights holder for the seventh inning stretch? If not, what's keeping a competitor from also calling itself the official water of the seventh inning stretch?

Would have been interesting to see some other companies billing themselves as the official $whatever of $phenomenon. For example, when Vancouver was hosting the Olympics, road closures due to events turned the normal madness into absolute chaos. Also as usual, Coke was a sponsor for the games. Pepsi should have claimed to be the official soft drink of smoothly flowing traffic (since the games, sponsored by Coke, were producing gridlock).

I'm waiting on MLB to have a sponsor for each pitch and/or hit in a game.

Just saw this little gem on a commercial...a Frozen sing-a-long DVD. Because kids don't already know the words to all the songs??
I would have a nice day, but I have other things to do.

There's a song from Frozen besides Let It Go?

Maybe it's just a 12 hour loop of that one song? It's been covered by other people so that could be included too! Gonna be the greatest sing-a-long DVD EVAR!!!

Many years ago, I heard about a radio station doing something similar with "Louie, Louie" - they had a (IIRC) 24 hour marathon of it without playing the same cover version twice.
