What is the weirdest thing the store has ever sold?

i haven't sold anything - my job wasn't retail... but i lived in japan for a year...

... if you can imagine it there's a Hello Kitty version of it. I taught my nephew that Hello Kitty is evil

That doesn't surprise me. Some die-hard vegans really go out of their way to avoid using leather and animal products. Though it's not easy to do 100% of the time, considering how many products are derived from animals (besides just food and leathers).

Generally the sort of folks who'll go out of their way to go to a pet food store are also the sorts who like animals, like cute things, etc. Nuff said? :-)

Owl pellet dissection kits, complete with owl pellets (in case I have the terminology wrong, the mass of hair and bone that the owl spits out when it's done digesting its meal). Yup, I work in a bookstore.

We have to try and sell about 40 picture watches with cameras(not in the watch). Seems like a really stupid thing to have.

The place I'm working now has little keychains shaped like pigs that have an LED in their snout and make a sound when you squeeze them. They're selling fast but I have NO idea why. We are a pet food store!

Probably because people like me exist. I'd buy a bunch of them for christmas stocking stuffers!
