OK, I don't know how much more of this I can take... I think I may have been pushed over the edge.
I've gotten used to seeing shadows moving about the hallway, I've gotten used to hearing doors open that aren't being opened and hearing a phone ring that is completely different than any phone in the hotel (and no guests in the lobby to explain as a cell phone). I've gotten used to guests complaining about their TVs randomly turning off and on.
But now it's reached a new level... today I heard a voice, very quite, sounded like a young boy, coming from underneath the desk... he said only three words "congratulations, you won". None of our computers have speakers so I know it wasn't a computer, my two way was in my pocket so it can't be the two way, I checked everywhere under the desk, can't find anything that would explain the noise.

You've officially gone nuts. Enjoy the experience until the men in white coats take you away.

In actuality, it might be one of the computers have a built in speaker. I know some systems (from installing them in banks) have them inside the case itself.

two things... I already checked... not built into the case... and both my shuttle driver and a guest heard it too... so if I'm going nuts there's 2 other people having the same delusion...

Have you tried warding pendents? Maybe that will keep the spirits away.

If you can get away with it, I'd suggested smudging with sage. It will dispel any negative energies.

I would suggesting having the area blessed but in a hotel I am guessing this could be pretty tricky?

It sounds very odd, do any other staff report weird stuff happening?

Could you buy any little stones to keep in your pocket? Amethyst, quartz, jade or jet may help?

Clapping your hands in corners of the rooms (upper and lower corners) is said to dispel negative energy.

Silver is also good (wearing it, if you can).

Just because it's an earthbound spirit doesn't mean it's evil or negative.

How about, if it happens again, simply saying something like, "Thanks, but would you mind leaving me alone? I have work to do."

Exactly as BrightEyedKitty said. It is not necessary evil, because it is earthbound. The phone ringing and no one is around. That sounds as if it is a residual haunting. Which is like a song or video being played on a loop

I've learned a radio or CD player drowns out the ghosties. As for shadows....well.....

Hotels must be the most commonly haunted place next to private homes (or it could even beat them).

I wonder if they do it because they don't realize that they are dead, wanted to stick around, or just f-ing around with us (imagine how fun it might be to some of them?).

I also think that was could have "4th dimention echos". These are repeating hauntings (same event over and over) - echos though time of events that have drastically altered the timeline but not large events that we pay attention to.

update... last night the ghost started telling me to push buttons... I think I'm losing my mind... if you read a newspaper article about a night auditor being arrested for disturbing the peace while running up and down the hall naked yelling "go away go away" you'll know that's probably me.
