Just to add a bit to what I said earlier—when it comes to Anime, I will go with dubbing, but for some high quality things like Akira, one must appreciate the fact that the mouth movements were drawn to perfectly match the Japanese voice actors. It's also interesting to watch in English with the subtitles activated, just to see how much was lost in translation and rewriting to make the dialog fit!
Apologies to powerboy, but you and your friends are probably the majority of NASCAR fans: normal people. However, it's the few loudmouths that are also sucky customers which stick in my memory, especially when I lived in Texas, and sucky customers in all forms will be made fun of!
