[Mixed Bag]

one of the mayors in the local area...refused to go anywhere with shoes on, even when walking across a hot parking lot in high summer. He tried to come into our store....The mayor tried to ignore the cops too, and they took him off in handcuffs.

What a great front-page colour photo, if it included the feet. Crazy like a fox I say he was, distracting attention from a real scandal I bet.

This all reminds me of another gem from way back:

"They come into a store in like a old ladies nightgown in the middle of the day and then complain to management about the fact that your a boy with an earring in your ear."
