I'm a little surprised. With as big a project as that, and the amount of money it would bring in, it wouldn't have surprised me to see him doing whatever he could to save that sale.

I think the VP knows that with the amount of time put in on that customer, they're not likely to see an actual sale, and the time could be better spent on larger orders that actually have a chance of shipping. Plus it seems like a fairly small office (though it may be BtG's style of telling), so in a smaller business, the higher-ups probably aren't as removed.

That all said, I like your VP Bob, and want one for my very own.

I'm curious, do they have to pay at all for these revisions or just the finished product? I'd hope it's the former otherwise your company seems like you'd be out a lot of money for the time spent on those revisions.

The worst feeling in the world for me is a complete start over. It feels like failure, wasted time, and I can feel my heart break for my sweet sweet drawing as soon as I hit delete.
