But it really annoys me when girls do this. Seriously, it's what makes it hard for pretty girls to be taken seriously. As well as having good looks, I am also intelligent, highly political, and a writer. But what do I get? People assuming I am only good at what I do because people give me leeway based on my looks.

I have been accused on this site before of being self absorbed and seen as one of those "mean pretty girls", but hey, to each their own.

I consider myself above average looking. But I also have a great sense of humor, am smarter than the average ditz (most people nearly drop dead when they discover I'm NOT an idiot) and I am a very open, extraverted, fun person to be around. Well, at least that's what I think of myself and what I've been told.

I get so sick and tired of thinking every pretty girl is an idiot or is stuck up or a mean person and I get really sick of people who think pretty girls use their looks to get everywhere in life. But what I hate more than that? Stupid people who say "Can't you just flirt with someone and get it for free?" or "Can't you just bat those pretty hazel eyes and see if someone will do it for you?"

No. That's not how it works. Sure, I don't often pay for my own drinks at the bar, but in all fairness, I had a boyfriend for a couple of months and have been seeing someone recently. But do I get free tires? Free auto repairs? Nope. I don't think I'd want it that way either. I have been introduced to and met many guys who obviously had no intention of getting to know me for me. I have also met lots of people who thought I looked like I was well-off....then they saw where I live, where I work....and all of a sudden, they were gone.

I guess I just get really sick of people who think all attractive people are mean and rude. I have met a lot of average and below average looking people who were shallow and absolutely horrible people. I don't want to make this a competition or a poll, I'm just saying that not everything is always at it seems. My most recent ex boyfriend was no Brad Pitt, more like a taller David Spade....and as time went on, I saw how shallow, materialistic, competitve, and immature this guy was. He thought he deserved only the best looking girls. He made off color remarks about overweight girls, yet he's a skinny twig who really needs to eat more potatoes.....he made comments about what other people had/didn't have.....he made comments about how pretty other girls were and never commented on how I looked, except "You look fine, let's go!".......

Everyone is different. I hate people who always judge on the outside.

Hmm. Girls try that to me. Very few had a shot. Mostly because of several reasons:


1: Plaidman knows he has no shot and your toying with him. Girls always done that. Plaidman is sick of that.

2: Plaidman cares for his job more then a girl flashing him in a vain attempt to get beer.

3: Plaidman doesn't really care too much about /sterotype/ beauty. But that time the punk girl flashed him, I really.... really had to focus on keeping my job, and still very politly declining to not make out with her so she can get back at her boyfriend. Then she threatened to kick my butt.
Plaidman isn't a sadist or whatever it's called. But girls that are stronger, smarter, better then Plaidman, (Which is a vast majority of them) ... can normally call the shots.

Except the bad girls. Which are alot.
