I haven't yet gone through an SCO myself - they don't seem to exist here, though I've seen them existing elsewhere.
But I will say that it's unfortunate wording on the card reader. On the readers here, they just say "Please Wait", without specifying who or what to wait for. (Or, on the older machines without English support, "Odota" which means simply "Wait". Finns can be a bit direct.)
