You know, if the returning woman had acted at all apologetic and offered to pay the meal (you know, at least pretending she knew nothing of her party's shenanigans), the manager may very well have let things slide. Attitude is everything and I'm so glad your manager encouraged the whole party of a-holes to show up for face-time with the local friendly officers.

This has my vote for a War Story too!
But like others have said: wow! How ironic that the wench left her purse when they didn't pay. I'm surprised the SC didn't call the police herself or barge into the lost & found area when the manager didn't magically pull her purse out of his/her ass the second she asked for it (thankfully that didn't happen!)
