winning someone over is like asking for a manager. the customer automaticly just asks because they beleive you'll get the deal. And best buy does not have much for ink. which is funny in a way because they sell the printers. I tend to go to staples because they are cheaper then wal mart and recycle the ink cartriges.I like to scare small childeren, it's fun and as long as you can out run the parents you can get away with it.

Quoth RedRoseSpiral View PostI want to know what location you went to. I worked there over Christmas and had 30 seconds to greet everyone who came into my section or I'd get in trouble.
Ever since they got rid of the commissioned people a few years back their customer service dropped like their stock price. (I was gonna use the panties/prom date type saying, but...)
Spencers Gifts do have some mini easy-button ripoffs. I'm sure you could rewire one of those into a real easy button.
We do appreciate the fans though! ^_^

Quoth MadMike View PostOn a somewhat related note, I came across something in the Sunday paper that I found somewhat amusing -- a sales flyer for Circuit City, adverstising things like "No payments for 18 months!" Obviously, this was printed before the company announced they were going out of business, but I wonder how many asses are going on and demanding that particular deal, despite the fact that the company won't be around in 18 months.
Thats funny because my dad had taken advantage of that deal a year ago on a high-dollar digital camera. When I was down there last week he joked "I guess I don't have to pay for this now!"
'Course, not being an SC, he truly was KIDDING, and is fully expected and prepared to hear an update on how/when it must be paid.
I can only imagine the disgruntled and entitled whining that will ensue when SC's realize that they aren't simply going to be able to not pay for these items."So, if you wanna put places like that outta business, just stop being so rock-chewingly stupid." ~ Raudf, 9/19/13

Quoth Mara-chan View PostLike the 16 pack sharpies, or the 24 pack of regular Staples brand pens?
(Actually Sharpies and I do not get along so well. They are permanent. I am a klutz. I also have a bad habit of placing pens in my mouth....)
Although, the Staples 'Sonix" gel pens were a bit disappointing. They do not release ink fast enough to keep up bwith my writing!

Normally finance deals are done via a company that specialises in providing finance loan services for retailers. Chances are, you'll keep on paying the finance services company.
Sometimes the financer is simply a specialised branch of the retailer's company, which for a chain as large as Circuit City, is quite possible. In this case they might sell the debt to another financer as part of the winding-up process. If this happens, you should get a notification from Circuit City about changing your payment details.
