The Subway Rants Chronicles (VERY Long and language warning)

I have two comments:

1) It's never really occurred to me to tip someone at Subway. HOWEVER I rarely come in with large orders, I think the biggest was maybe four sandwiches.

2) I sympathize with wanting to make a quick exit after closing, but if your store is open until 9 and I walk in at 8:45 wanting a sub, I would think there'd be time for that. I can understand no dice if I walked in at 8:55, but I think asking for no customers in the final 30 minutes until close is unrealistic.

I never realized how great a subway customer I was until I read your posts! lol.

I go to Subway at the Wal-Mart next door to the wholesale club where I work. They all know me well enough there that sometimes the Subway manager will give me the WM employee discount if he's manning the register when I come in for my food.

I rarely got the $5 footlongs, however, because I was trying to cut back on my food...

Then Subway introduced their limited-time-only $5 footlong sub, the Chicken Pizziola. Chicken, big slices of pepperoni, marinara sauce, shredded mozzerella... *drool*

I got that every day I was working, and was so bummed out when they discontinued it.

:sigh: Still, I've never been sucky, and only sighed in exasperation when I'd come in on my lunch break and see a huge line waiting to order. I knew it wasn't the Subway people's fault, though, so I didn't pass any suck on to them.
