Okay.... this is the part that stumps me. Beaten up, sure, but you can't be arrested for just being a Nazi, I think you have to be acting in a threatening or violent way toward someone. Also, sued for what? Not knowing the area?

I always found it personally amusing that the Nazis had the idea to create the "master race" of blue-eyed blondes when they themselves didn't really fit that description.

Two of my great-grandfathers were from Germany. One was from Cologne. He had very light brown hair, was average height and very stocky. I don't know the color of his eyes. The other was from Prussia, I believe. He was very tall and thin, with black hair and dark blue eyes.

Most of Dad's relatives originally came from Ireland, Norway, or Germany. Nearly all of them have dark hair and brown eyes. Well, except for his mother...her hair has been red for the past 30 years As for me, well, I do have some red hair. Too bad it gets overpowered by the brown, and now grey Seriously though, I don't think there's anyone on either side of the family with the blond/blue combination. No idea why, either.

Actually, most neo-Nazis don't care that Hitler was Austrian rather than German, as they subscribe to his ideas about race supremacy, which has nothing to do with the distinction between Austrians and Germans. It should also be pointed out that Hitler himself made no distinction between the two, referring not to Germans, but to the Germanic people, and when referring to "the master race," calling them the Aryans. Many Americans, among others, could easily be described as Aryan, even if their ancestry is neither Austrian, German, or even Germanic. Lots of Scandinavians and Irish, for example, would fit that bill.

Myself, I have been accused of being a Nazi a couple of times. Which I found rather funny for a few reasons:
1. I have brown hair and green eyes.
2. I do not look any bit "Aryan."
3. I actually look rather "Jewish."
4. I AM of 100% Jewish descent.
Which means, of course, that were I a Nazi I would be, by definition, not only self-hating but also suicidal.

Now, my name is not all that "Jewish," as it were, so on those rare occasions when some very misguided soul accuses me of being a Nazi, I am very tempted to, when I am done laughing, introduce myself with a false (and much more "Jewish") name. Something along the lines of, "I'm sorry, I don't believe we've been proper introduced. I'm Ari Rosenthal. And you are.....?"

The people who accuse me of being a Nazi are almost as funny to me as the neo-Nazis and racists who denigrate me for being Jewish and tell me I should "go back to Israel." This makes me laugh, considering my ancestors came here from eastern Europe (not the Middle East) in the 1880's, over sixty years before Israel even existed as a sovereign state.

Yes, both of these types amuse me, as I usually find blatant ignorance rather entertaining.
