Where does this guy think he's going to do where a man will handle his things?
In my area most of the retail workers are women.
Oh and I do most of the laundry for my wife and I. so
The real question is, how does he know that a woman hasn't *ever* touched the clothes, like you know, other customers, factory workers, etc? He has no way of knowing that the clothes are "undefiled."

Ever hear the old saying "Ignorance is bliss?"

I wonder if he'll ever realize that a good amount of everything he ever has touched in the past and will touch in the future will be "defiled". I'd kinda like to see his meltdown.
Unseen but seeing oh dear, now they're masquerading as sane-KiaKat There isn't enough interpretive dance in the workplace these days-Irv 3rd shift needs love, too

Nope... that's just part of a larger saying: "Where ignorance is bliss, tis folly to be wise", which means more along the lines of if it's a good thing to be ignorant, then it's obviously wrong to be intelligent. As opposed to the taken meaning of the shortened phrase, where, hey, it's okay to be stupid.

21st century? For the whole of recorded history women have been involved with the spinning of fabric and the making and cleaning of clothes.
