If they were young punks as you said, they stole it because (a) they were underage, (b) they didn't have the money to buy booze, and they wanted to do the typical young punk thing and get wasted, or (c) both of the above.
I'm sure that's the same reason someone stole a case of beer from my garage. Naturally, all the soda that was on the shelf next to it was untouched.

We'd usually leave the garage open during the day, and close it sometime after dark. Well, one night I had just sent my son up to bed, and went out to the garage to grab a nice cold beer. I went to the spot on the shelf where it was supposed to be, and stared in disbelief at the empty space. Then I looked again, as if that would make it magically reappear. Then when that didn't work, I looked on the floor, to see if it had fallen, as if I wouldn't have noticed it when I came out. When all that failed, I started cussing up a storm, loud enough that my son heard me and came out to see what was wrong.

      "Someone... stole... my... FUCKING.... BEER!"

I still can't believe someone actually had the nerve to walk into the garage, while there were lights on in the house and we were obviously home and could have stepped out into the garage at any moment and busted them, and grabbed my beer.

Needless to say, we stopped leaving the garage open after that.

Fucking kids. I think the 21 drinking age is stupid, but don't go stealing my beer because of it.

I gotta agree about the prints thign. At the dealership we had several high end stereos get ripped out of some new cars. The cops came out and fingerprinted and all that good stuff the cars. I know because my detailers and I had to spend like forever getting that dust and stuff out of the carpeting. So if its an expensive enough item they'll defiantely at least take the prints. Now the bad thign is if the kids are clean and dont have the pritns in the system for anything or if the labs are too backed up or who knows what else.

One day, my grandmother was visiting my grandfather in the nursing home, before he passed . And some punks broke the glass, and to steal something that looked like a handbag, well it was a pencil pouch. When her and I came out of the nursing home, and discovered that window broken, we called the police, and ofcourse they did not do anything about it. They said that a robbery is not good enough to get the cops out there. This happened in broad daylight. Those stupid punks

You know, it's funny -- I've been living in that house almost 7 years, and I still don't know a whole lot of the neighbors, let alone any of their kids.

It might not have even been anyone who lived there. There were reports of similar things happening in the area, and some kids from one town over got caught doing it. Don't know if they were they same ones who took my beer or not.

It makes sense to me. Plus, they can save the blood from the bodies and the body parts to save other people's lives that actually are good for the society.
I doubt the parts would be any good after that....

Madmike. Oh ok. Only 7 years? wow. I can't conceive of that. I'm 4th generation on the same farm and have never moved off the property just moved from a triler to the house to a new trailer.

Whats sad is that sicne the neighboring farmer sold his place to a land developer I don't know over half the new people on my road either.
