I'm a dude, but even I know VS is like the Hot Topic of undies, all made for teeny boppers and not real people.

I bet locally owned and smaller chains have much more realistic product and service.

VS's Secret is they hate bigger women. I went in got measured and then told they only carry one or two in my size and they are basically nothing that make me feel femine!

I never understood the embarrassment that came with being a 40 or up anyways. Sooner or later, most women get to be those sizes themselves as they age. Besides, no one really cares. Really.
I'm just trying to figure out what's going to happen to me to make me gain 12 inches in my ribcage!

Me too. I was wearing a 32A until I started BC pills and gained weight. Now I'm wearing a 34B, but I'm not sure if it's correct.
That never happened to me on any BC I've been on. If anything, when I got my period (when I was still doing that song and dance), I would drop weight. Never got bloated, even before BC pills.

Actually, I think that they hate women outside of their narrow little size range. Not only can you not find hardly above a 38DD, they seem to only get one or two in anything under a 34B!

Amazingly enough, though, I've found some that I just love at Wal-Mart, of all places, for $10!

I need to get measured again as well... after 3 kids (#4 coming in Nov) I'm rather certain that I am not the size I think I am.

How South Florida are we talkin here? I'm in Port St. Lucie... if it's not too too far, I may have to pay you a visit. I'm not a Hambeast. i promise.

That was pretty much the only place I could ever find my 32As. And they were cute, too! *sniff* I miss my little(r) boobs.

One of my former girlfriends was a bigger woman and she swore by VS bras.

Long ago, when the world was shinier and the rocks were soft, an innocent Moggie wandered into the local VS, trying to figure out what that lovely perfume was. A tiny saleswoman looked her up and down, sniffed and said "Lane Bryant is downstairs." then spun on her heel and left.

I have never set foot in a VS since. For the record, I'm a 38DDD.

I do recommend checking in your local phone book for places that specialize in wedding, maternity, and (oddly enough) cancer patients underthings. Locally I've got a place called Petticoat Fair who not only measure me every time I come in (just in case) but are happy to recommend other places that might have what I want if they don't. You can even sometimes find such places by calling your local American Cancer Society offices, if you happen to be in the States.

I thought that VS's secret was that all of their products were hand-crafted by the best third world political prisoners and child labourers money can buy...

i honestly dont know how anyone can stand VS, from what ive seen if you aren't a cheerleader your going to be turned away. My sister might be able to find a bra there because she fits in the narrow rang of band and cups (32- to sometimes 48 AA-D) but every one i know would rather go to some place professional than there and its true, VS doesn't like big women,

actually, that's not that odd... especially if it is breast cancer. If the patient does not go for double masectomy, it is guaranteed that one boob will be larger/smaller than the other... and if they do go for a double masectomy then there is special requirements for the expanders that are put in the place of the original tissue. It makes perfect sense that companies would cater to those needs.

Actually, Victoria's Secret is that she's a man, hence the unrealistic proportions required to comfortably fit in the vast majority of their overpriced bits of fabric (34 DD? That defies the laws of physics).

I heard they are going to start carrying more "real people" sizes soon, but I'll believe it when I see it.

I might not have had those problems but I would have disabling migraines, horrific cramps, nausea, heavy flow, and, from time to time, I would get a touch anemic.

I'm much happier with what I'm on now. Took 'em long enough.

Is that it? *Looks down shirt.* Not only did I work at one of the call centers, but that's my real name. (Got tired of the "jokes" after the first week and started using my middle name.) They never would tell me what my secret was.

I'd just like to chime in and say that Victoria's Secret is not just a "fattie hater" store.

Many girls who are skinny, just very well endowed and very curvy in the chest, hips and butt have a very hard time fitting into their underwear. I and a few of my friends speak from personal experience.

There have been pairs of underwear that were size L and XL....and even they were a bit snug. Who is that fucking tiny that they can fit into those little panties? Oh wait, that's right...girls who are 6'0 tall and 100 lbs.

I do like Victoria's Secret stuff, I really do....I just have a hell of a time with their underwear.

Makes me wonder how they stay in business if they have such a narrow range of sizes in their clothing.

Probably has something to do with the narrow range of expectations most men have... and most women feel that they have to live down to.
