SC gets seriously pwned.
A friend of mine works in a small shop with a no cash refund policy. They do thirty day warranties and have a 24 hour trade in (You don't want the product, then you can trade for another and pay the difference.)
SC comes in with a game he didn't like that he had bought the previous day. He demands a cash refund and my friend and his CW refuse. The SC then accuses the CW of telling him that he could get a refund when he purchased the item (No he didn't.)
After trying to tell the man what his options were and that he could not get a cash refund, he demands the number to corporate. The store owner is a cool woman who actually suggested giving future SCs a certain phone sex hotline whenever they would ask for a corporate number for no good reason. My friend offers the SC the phone sex number.
After ten minutes or so, the SC returns angry sayind, "I want corporate! Not some D*** porn number!" SC then walks up to my friend and asks, "You trying to be funny giving me a porn number?!" To which my friend replies, "No. I thought I was doing a pretty good job actually." The SC gets angry and demands the number of a manager. (Keep in mind that my friend IS a manager.)
The man leaves and a woman later calls the store. My friend answers. The woman is unaware that this is the person she is complaining about so she proceeds to tell him all about the incompetant employee that gave her husband a porn number and refused to give him a refund after he was told he could get one. Of course she realizes she is talking to the very guy she was complaining about and demands his name. He gives her his (silly) nickname and she gets angry.
Finally my friend is on his break and gets a call from the store owner (who had finally stopped by the store.) By now he had already told her the story and she had been laughing all day about it. She tells him that the SC had come back. He tried to lie again and tell her that my friends CW had told him he could have a refund. Here's how the conversation went:
Store owner: "You are lying. All of the cameras have microphones and my employee never told you you get a refund."
SC (Realizing he's busted.): "... Well, what can I do?"
Owner: "You can do the 24 hour exchange or keep your game."
SC: "Well what about that employee of yours. He was incompetant and gave me a porn number that I have to pay 25 dollars on now and was very rude."
The owner basically lets him know that it's just too bad and now he's gonna have to pay 25 dollars to his phone company lol.
