Silence isn't always golden
When I'm stocking the cooler at my store, I don't always hear the door buzzer. There is a light on the inside of the cooler that is "supposed" to go off, but I digress.
A customer will come in, and not say a word. No "Hello!", or "Is anybody there?". I swear some have stood there for 5 minutes. I then come out of the cooler and crap myself.
I usually get, "oh, I thought you got robbed or something like that." Yeah, what with all the police in the store and fact that you actually got in the store since most places lock up after a robbery. Where was there concern when they stood there in total silence for 5 minutes?
I'm so loved.
