That's a major pet peeve of mine. Today I was dusting the shelves where we keep the generic sodas. I found a carton of milk, a gallon of ice cream and a tub or sour cream hidden behind the bottles. We had to throw them out because some dim bulb couldn't put it back where it belonged.

If I were to go through your line, do that and hit the ATM and then purchase everything with cash, would you find it sucky or offensive if I say something to the effect of "Must be your Merchant Services Account or machine, some local companies have the same issue. I knew I had the money on it, next time I'll just bring in cash." in a conversational sort of tone.
