    I think that's the wuss.

And some stuff smells odd. but that odd smelling thing is going to be the thing that makes it work.

I also grow weary of twelve year old boys coming in and asking if my fizzys will make the bathtub explode.
I agree, there are a few items that smell odd - anything with that moroccan mud or henna smells odd to me. Not unpleasant, mind you but sort of dirt/earth/under the front porch sort of. Then there is other stuff that is fabulous! There was a pink soap that was rose and something else, and the scent really had linger time. I cant remember the name offhand but it isnt either of the ones online right now. The red rooster is nice if you like a cinnamon and spice kick, but I always have to pick out the cloves and cinnamon sticks so they dont scratch my skin.

They need to open one in New Mexico. Actually, I'm kind of surprised that there isn't one in Santa Fe.

The website told me there was a store about 2 hours drive from me. I talked a friend into going with but when we got there, no store to be found. I was bummed.

I really just want to smell it all before I buy it, is that a bad thing? Plus I'd heard great things about the stores.

I would only ask if you had anything lavender or cinnamon-scented (not both, thankfully!)
Cinnamon was a nice scent to me for years.

Then I started working at my current <hotel chain>. EVERYTHING smells like cinnamon; the bath soaps, the shampoo, conditioner, lotions. I'm so sick of the smell of cinnamon!

Personally, I prefer the smell of sugar and vanilla. Oh man, that's a relaxing scent!

Sugar, cinnamon, and vanilla together is a beautiful thing. Thank you.

Heh. I can smell my local store when I come up the steps from the parking garage
argh, unfortunately things like this mean I dread going into shopping centres (malls). I am very sensitive to strong smells and I find it bad enough when someone with strong perfume walks past me, but unfortunately shops like that make shopping impossible.

That said, their products when on their own smell quite nice and aren't overpowering (my g/f uses some of their shampoo but i'll never be able to buy any for her).

There are people who come in with their kids and go, come get your free piece of soap. ummmm. no. samples are not free for me. my store pays for them.

And for the love of gods, my bath bombs are not toys. Don't let your kids play with them.

Wee, I just used my last bomb last night. Now I get to make a trip to stock up! Bath bombs are so amazing. My favourite is that big white one with the pink and blue spots. Sakura, I think. Oh, and I am madly in love with the Celestial face cream, too. It's done wonders for my aging face.

How it's possible to be in a bad mood in that store is beyond my understanding.

I took my friend into a store for her birthday. She's hooked! Nooooooo, I don't turn my friends into enablers of my addicted, why would you say that?

                              there rarely is =(

And lilac essential oil is very expensive because it is a very difficult little blossom to process. Back in the middle ages it was processed by spreading the little individual blossoms on a sheet of glass smeared with fat, let sit in the sun then washed off with alcohol, then the alcohol evaporated off. Nowdays they do it way differently, but it is still a multistep process.

I come from Rochester NY, the Lilac city =) It is one of my favorite scents as well )

Not to be the bearer of bad news, but they just discontinued I should coco.

I really don't get people who come in my store mad. It's such a happy place. And we're nice, helpful, and for the most part friendly.

Sorry, becks, but very rarely do we do single note fragrances, and I don't think that we have anything at the moment that has a lilac note in it. Charity Pot lotion might give you the floral that you are looking for, but that is more honeysuckle.
