Why did you get mad? Just let her yammer on, she wasn't going to get what she wanted so you shouldn't have reacted to her at all. She'd have figured out in time that she wasn't going to get anywhere and left. Get some thicker skin.
This is exactly what I do.

Person keeps asking the same question? I keep giving them the same answer. Over and over again. Each time entirely politely.

Eventually after about 10 minutes of receiving the exact same reply, word for word, even the densest moron gets a free Cluepon(tm) and goes away:

      I'm confused

She demands free stuff, complains because you wont give it to her. Manager says no, but then gives her 2 free tickets because she asked for corporates number?

      Thats just whacked
She was asking for free food, and I was told the bitch tried the same thing at the box office. She was complaining when I had finally had enough of her badgering and firmly told her no, right in front of the manager. Well, TB decided that I was being rude to her. Why does she think I am being rude? Because I won't give her free food and risk getting caught by management for giving away free food, which I believe would be considered stealing to them. She also asked for a refund on her tickets too, but the stupid bitch wanted to continue watching the movie. My manager refused that. Cudos to her for not kissing the cunt's ass!
My theatre's sales are so way down in concession, that they have threatened to suspend anyone for 2 weeks who was caught not suggesting an item or upselling. So how will they react when they find that 1 of their employees is giving away free food? Yeah, I'm thinking what yall are thinking, it ain't gonna be pretty.
On a happy note, I went in and talked to my GM today along with the manager who handled her last night. Basically I received every indication that he was not going to write me up because she instigated it, although he did tell me that I needed to watch myself better. But I appear to have gotten a free pass on this one!
Also I was told by GM that she had not yet called Corporate to file a complaint because he hadn't gotten an email from them yet. Either she was bluffing and just trying to scare me, or she had second thoughts about it. Or maybe Corporate told her she was a fucking scam artist and told her where to shove it! Anway I appear to be in the clear, I'm about 95% sure.

TB: Hi can we get some free popcorn? We know J who used to work here.
"You know J? Say... wasn't he the guy I heard about who got fired for giving out free stuff to his friends and skanky girls he thought he had a chance with? They said some of the skanks thought they were cute enough to manipulate guys like him. How's he doing?"

Okay now that response is golden.

That crack about "poor customer service" is one of the mildest things scammers have said in these postings. Usually, you'll hear rude, bigoted, mean or unfair when a scammer doesn't get their way.
I'm trying to see things from your point of view, but I can't get my head that far up my keister!

Sometimes you just can't hold back. Everyone has a snapping point. I'm sure if a Cardinal had to deal with some entitlement whore trying to score extra wafers at a Papal Mass he'd eventually rip her a new one too. And his boss is the freakin Pope.

Going forward, you should probably work on your thousand yard stare.
I didnt want to quote the whole post but wagegoth has it bang on. If they arent paying customers, they arent worth your time. They of course get your attention if they demand it if no one else is there, but if someone is demanding a discount from me and I keep saying no, then someone else wants to buy something at full price, I pay attention to the new customer.

Also the thousand yard stare is extremely effective for keepiung your cool.. Just this week I had a lady who was in a bit of a disagreement over payment (she said she paid, we said she didnt, no its not her groceries but more of a service) and my co-workers thought I was going to exlode but I just eventually glazed over and repeated myself until she finally left. Works wonders if they are beating a dead horse.

Hopefully they get the hint, and if they accuse you of bad customer service pretty much tell em that the guy you just helped disagrees
Fan? This is shit. Shit? Meet fan.

She do what we have here, get a scene card, it's a free points cards that also gets you 10% off at the concession.

Also for a fun response that might get you in trouble, turn around and read the menu aloud in detail and then just say: "sorry there is not item on our menu called free popcorn however we do have blah..."

That's just it, there was no one else in line when she pulled this stunt. And I'm thinking that this is part of her strategy, to go into a store, pick out an unfortunate employee, ask for free stuff, discount, etc., and then finally piss them off to the point where they get irritated. Then when the employee reacts the way he/she did, TB has something to complain about and gets her way. The bitch probably goes from store to store pulling off this crap all the time. If I were a manager, I'd have told her either to pay for the stuff she wants, or to stop harassing our employees. She was clearly trying to get me and the Box Office cashier too to give her free stuff. I really wouldn't be the least bit surprised if she even resorted to stealing to get things for free.
Everyone in my work place has backed me up. 1 of my coworkers says he knows her a little and told me he was going to go onto Facebook and chastise her for bugging me for free shit.
I myself would love to find her Facebook page and go on there and gloat, saying something along the lines of, "Haha! You tried to get me into trouble, but it did not work! And now everyone knows you are a scam artist at our theatre, and the managers know it too! I hope that someday a dishonest employee will give you free food, and then you get food poisoning, you stupid fucking whore!"
However, if I did something like this, I'm not sure if it could backfire on me though and still get me into trouble with management. Does anyone know the answer to this? Because I am giving some very serious consideration to doing just that.
Come on people, be honest. If you were given the same opportunity to tell a sucky customer off away from work, you'd take that opportunity in a heartbeat wouldn't you? As long as you were 100% sure it wouldn't come back on you at work.

Props to you for willing to stand up for yourself and speak your mind despite the risks. These are the situations I'd love to be around more often behind the stupid morons in line trying to pull this crap and tell them to GTFO because the poor clerk behind the counter cannot since they usually don't want to risk their jobs/getting written up. I've done it a couple of times when at a restaurant or store with a SC being rude and obnoxious and clearly in the wrong and it feels good!

Bowser, I think you'll be okay. Let us know.

Thousand yard stare is effective at combating that shit. You can practically see my eyes glaze over at this point. Eventually, your ears glaze over too and you can't hear anything really. Its kind of cool

No, I wouldn't because I've learned not to carry that crap with me. The only person who's fuming, angry and upset is you. They're probably at home playing on pogo thinking about lunch.

My fave method is the repetition, smile, polite method. A co-worker at the pizza place taught me this; basically, you keep smiling and being polite, cuz that hacks off an SC more than anything. And if they are asking you to do something that's against store policy, just keep on repeating yourself til they give up and go away. Best thing? They can't complain about you, cuz you're giving them nothing. "She kept smiling and being polite to me!"
