You can be as nasty as you want in your own mind, or privately and discreetly with coworkers, but not to someone's face. That's just not professional.

I don't know. When someone is so far beyond beyond the line of reasonable that you need a sled team and a satalite photo to get back to it, I think a bit of public shaming is appropriate.
