No kidding. I don't order pizza that often, but they had to have remembered something when my address came up, because I got my pizza 20 mins before the original quote time last night.

Yes Blas, they remember the good ones. A few places even know me by name now, and I don't order out much anymore cause of finances. Doesn't hurt to treat the people who deliver pizza, or serve you at a restaurant, nice. If you do have a complaint, unless it is something they specifically did, don't take it out on them..focus your complaint where it SHOULD go.

I still can't figure out what is with people who think because they frequent a place all the time, they can act/do however/whatever they want.
Simple. It's because they CAN and they KNOW IT. They figure out really quickly which stores' management have the patented Flexy Bendy Spines (From Blammo!) and they do their best to frequent those places, as they know that they will be kowtowed to by the folks who don't actually have to do the real work...Managers like these enable SC's like those.

The best part is, this spinelessness can, and often does, apply to the bill, as well, thus making them the really wealthy component of that bottom 5% that all stores are invariably better off without...

The only cure is to treat them the way every customer should be treated -- the same as anybody else. This gets rid of them really quick.

                    My People.... ^_^

Ya know, that show was much better when it was a funny show that sometimes happened to be gross (read: when John K was actually making it) ....Once Nickelodeon fired him, it quickly became a gross show that was, on occasion, actually funny x.x Didn't stop them from using his name, tho.

Speaking of both "Nick" and "better a long time ago"...Anyone know if they ever released "You Can't Do That On Television" on DVD or something similar?

If I deliver to someone naughty or nice often enough I know their dog, their kids, the art on their walls, the plants they have in the yard, their car, the number opf game systems they have, the size of their TV, weed smoker, children used as a human shield, scammer, cheapwad, bad front porch, broken doors, which door to go to without being told, their Social Security number, their Drivers Lic....... OPPPPSSSS I should not have said that.

Or she's one of those miserable, miserable older women for whom making young female cashiers/wait staff/counter help/what-have-you feel bad is a competitive spectator sport.

But she didn't make you cry. There's bonus points for that.

She treats everybody like that, and there isn't anything you can do about it. If it wasn't the "wait" it would have been something else. Her soda might have been "too cold" or the chairs "too firm" and she would have demanded your head for it.

Don't let her get to you, because then she wins.

                            *snort* I needed that ^_^

And remember, boyz and girlz. "You Can't..." is the show that brought us a very early view of a teenage waif of a singer up Canada way...What was her name again? It was something ironic. don't ya think?

Tho I gotta admit that Barth was probably my favorite character, even if he probably is how waaaay too many people envision cooks at greasy spoons. If one is eating at a school caff...well, yeah, it's probably more accurate.

But now I'm thinking of the host of that show. i was surprised to find out a few years later that he was OCD about cleanliness. he was on some tv program discussing his condition, discussing his therapy, and commenting on how the slime on the show affected his condition. (i was rather impressed that he stuck with the show anyway because that takes determination)
