People need to read his poems more. I'm convinced that if these people had read "Smart" when they were kids, we wouldn't have so many SCs running around today.

Shel Silverstein was awesom, my daughter had all of his books as a kd, and now her daughter is reading them.

He was a unique individual, too, if I remember correctly he held quite a few diverse jobs in his life.
