I used to have black square plates, but a dishwasher incident destroyed them (top shelf of the dishwasher broke midcycle and smashed everything on the bottom shelf, and most of the glassware on the top shelf. Hello, Walmart, cheap dishes, you say! Thank you!)

Erm...well, ragu is TRADITIONALLY a chunky sauce, made with meat. (think bolognese). I don't know what the big difference is between that and spaghetti sauce. I don't know if there is one, but that's what I call it when I do a super chunky sauce like the one pictured above.
