Hopsicutioner 7% ABV

Lighter golden in color. not too much head when poured. the nose is amazing. floral and hoppy.

Taste: this is amazing.nice balance with the hops. not over the top, but a smooth drinking IPA. Not bad at all, and I do recommend it

Terripan liquid bliss

It's a chocolate penut butter stout.

Nose is amazing, it's very dark with minimal head.

Taste: wow. as you all iknow I revewed a chocolate penutbutter from the American Sky Brewing. this is very similar, but amped up. this is very delicious. I think I gave the American Sweetheat an 8, this is a solid 9 out of 10.

Florida avenue Ales 4.7% ABV.

Probablyb not a bad choice at this point.

Taste: hello. now just so you know, I am tosted at this point. this beer is citrusy. it's got a light refreshing flavor. considering what I was having before this, notNot bad

Islamorada beer co. Sandbar sunday 4.8% ABV

Nice golden color, with no head. The nose is somewhat citrusy.

Taste:nice refreshing taste. fairly easy drinking. there is a slight hop taste, but very slight. not bad and a good beer to start up for the nighttime. 6 out of 10

First off I forgot to review a combination called A Dirty Ho. it is a combination of Shock Top and Lindimans. it is a good combination, and do recommend it.

A bit of clarification here. Lindemans is a Belgian brewery that brews many lambics. The one in question is their Framboise, which is a raspberry wheat lambic.

I'm not dogging Vic here. I'm just a fan of the Dirty Hoe, and wanted to clear a couple of things up.

Orange Blossom Pilsner 5.5% ABV

Taste: saldy, bland. very little orange in the taste. sadly, nothing to write home about. 3 out of 10

I tend to agree with Vic on the OBP; while I'd give it a slightly higher score, perhaps a 4 or so, I agree it is forgettable. Which is sad, as it as billed as being brewed with native Floridian orange blossom honey, which is awesome stuff.

However, the same company also brews Orange Blossom Pilsner Squared, which is twice the alcohol, at 11.0% ABV. More importantly, at least to me, as I'm not scared of such a high gravity beer, is that this beer delivers on the promise of the orange blossom honey. I prefer it in the bottle to the draft version, but both are more what one would expect from the billing given its lesser brethren.

I know it's been a bit since my last review, but I had to rectify a crime - I had to have my first Cigar City Maduro of the trip, and ironically, it was at a cigar shop. I do not smoke cigars, but it was a good time enjoying the beer with the regulars there who were smoking cigars. oh, and yes, at least a 6 pack of Maduro is going home with me.

Now to the review

Sweetwater Blue - 4.9 ABV

Golden colored with minimal head. no nose.

Taste: well, this is interesting. Do I taste blueberries? Why, yes I do. After riding around the island all day, a very good way to probably call it a night with this beer.

Stupid stout by the Coronado Brewing 10% ABV

This is pittch black, and poured like motor oil. not too much head. I get hints of chocolate in the nose.

Taste: delicious. very delicious. it's got a nice rich flavor.chocolate, and other great flavors. Jester's review of this review will be more in depth, but we come to the same conclusion.

Terripan Wake and Bake

This is served in a snifter.

Minimal head, and black as night. very coffee nose.

Taste: very amped up on coffee. I would guess it's got a high ABV based on it being in a snifter. it is a fairly decent coffee stout, but not for the faint of heart.

Couldn't do a review while drinking this beer because I was @ the Garden Of Eden, but the Sam Adams summer is a good, refreshing beer, and it was worth a 6 out of 10.

narragansett Lager 5.0% ABV

Golden color, with a bit of head.no nose that I can detect.

taste: honestly, bland, though I am not surprised. really nothing to say about this beer. they honestly send it back to Peter Griffin.

Now to finish this beer and onto the quest for the holy grail, I mean, food.

Can anyone recommend me a good scotch? I'm looking for something on the smooth side. I like the taste, my stomach just doesn't always agree with my tastes. I haven't tried too many scotches/whiskeys. Just Jack (meh), Gentleman Jack (Which is surprisingly good considering a bottle of it is so cheap), Fireballs (meh) and a bottle of Glenlivet's Guardians Chapter which my wife and I were given for our wedding. That tasted amazing.

Terripan Mosaic

Nice amber color, with a bit of head. The nose is hoppy.

Taste: nice smooth flavor with a slight bite at the end. fairly easy drinking beer as I wind down my vacation, though if you don't like IPAs, it's not for you. 6 out of 10.

This is beer 116. I don't know I'll hit 120 here, because I will need to get my CC Maduro fix.

Golend in color and minimal head. very citrusy nose.

Taste: very citrusy. Very refreshing. 6.5 out of 10.

Weyerbacher imperial Pumpkin 8.0%ABV

Dark amber in color with a thick head.the nose is strong with pumpkin spice.

Taste: very nice. got a nice spice bite, with a cinnamon finish. not the best one I've had, not a Cigar City Good Gourd, but damn good and worth a 7 out of 10

Now to a very light beer.

Stiegl Grapefruit Radler 2.5% ABV

Almost white in color with ltiile head. lots of grapefruit on the nose.

Taste: pretty much like grapefrut juice, but amped up a bit. not bad on a nice hot Key West day.
