My favorite pass time now is to see my 19 year old cashier getting hit on. The funniest one was hearing this guy hitting on her like crazy only to have his 7 year old son run in and tell him that mom said to hurry up. Most of them do it with their wedding rings on. I do have one that teases that he's wearing me down. The man is married with four kids. I got so pissed I told him sure but only if his wife plays because my husband needs a playmate if I get one. He got so flustered at that one. Guess he can cheat but his wife cant.

I get hit on. I don't mind when it's friendly gentle flirting. It gives you a little ego boost. I HATE HATE HATE the idiotic, macho posturing that passes for flirting with some guys. 'Oh yeah, I'm so haaard! I'm going to make not-so-subtle sexual innuendos and sexist comments and try and make you feel uncomfortable! And THEN I'm going to suggest you meet me after work for some 'hot lovin'!

Seriously, maybe you can give me an insight. Does ANYONE actually think that's going to work?

Some girls with very low self esteem do fall for it, to be honest its not something I'm an expert on however, its more of a witness statement!

I have to jump on this bandwagon as well. For me, it's the long, black hair.... *swoon*
Oh yes ... oh yes ... I can feel my knees weakening already!

I got my hair cut just before hitting the golf course on Thursday.

The girls that work in the canteen said "oh, nice haircut, you're so guapo (handsome) now!" I spoke the truth: "It's so good for an old man's ego when the pretty young girls say that!" They giggled.

When I ran a convinience store ( I was 21 at the time) it was next door to an assisted living facility so many of my regulars were elderly women.

Some of them flirted innocently enough just telling my how cute i was and pinching my dimples lol ( I have very large very deep dimples when i smile old ladies go nuts for them ) One day I was helping one of my regulars get something of a shelf when she says to me " You know if i was 60 years younger I'd get you in trouble" and she then she proceeded to grab my ass!!!!

Thats the only time I can recall ever being openly flirted with Altho my friends say it happens all the time and i'm just oblivious to it

I remember 1 specific time I actually hit on someone at work. I was so shocked at what I had said I couldn't shut my mouth for about 30 seconds afterwards. Luckily for me he not only rented the apartment, but took me up on my offer for later that week. That was 3 years ago and he still calls me. Specifically he calls me the mother of his youngest son. My son, calls him DaDa, or, more likely cals him PHBBBBBBTHHHSLALATHBBBT!

Whaddya want? He's only 9 months old.

Ummm... well - I did get hit on while on a call... twice if I recall correctly. One with a group of teens from uni, the other by the daughter for her mother who was also in the car.

And then there was the time I had someone flirting with me. When I responded (after a few weeks of her coming in at ridiculous hours of the morning), she sort of freaked, and asked me if I thought 'something was going to happen'. I explained to her why, after all she had been saying... she ran out of the store. Apparently, she didn't realise just how obvious she was - although she reckons it was 'unintentional'. Turned out not to be that way :P ( I still see her occasionally - as she's now my good friend down here )

I get hit on by the really not so cute guys. Usually the older 'I don't have a life' types. My job requires me to wear the black pantalon and the nice fancy light purple shirt. It looks fairly butch on a girl, especially since I have a pretty butch build as well. I am not that skinny lol.
A plus is that usually the lesbians always hit on me. That I can always appreciate

I wish this weren't as true as it really is.

And as for your other comment, there is nothing wrong with a guy in uniform

I occasionally got hit on by drunk women when I worked at the pharmacy that was across the street from a bar. It didn't happen too often, since I only worked there while I was 15-18, but there were some sorely tempting times. Though sometimes they'd just be looking for free stuff which I'd laugh off.

Didn't really get hit on much while at the racetrack. Last summer I DID have one older woman try to hit on me. She was probably in her early 30s, and she was with her friend and they had a couple kids with them. She was pretty cute too. I normally stick to girls my age or younger, but she definitely was a looker. I also am not a big fan of kids though. That kinda killed it for me.

How different is it compared to a regular officer uniform.

Well the overall uniform is black tie, white shirt (although the MPS have pale blue/grey), black trousers, where as a fully sworn officer has black eppauletts (sp?) mine are royal blue,

hat band (depending on force) can be one of the following
                            Royal blue
                            Royal Blue and white Check
                            Royal Blue with Reflective band
and your cap badge can either be the force crest or a 'shield' type with the words Police Community Support Officer (or words to that effect) emblazoned upon.
A fully sworn officers will be black and white check

Body Armour is Overt (not all forces issue it for PCSOs) and can range from black to High Visibility green with reflective bands.

Some forces issue Royal Blue ties for PCSOs

North Wales is an exception and instead of a peak cap you are issued a baseball cap, you get given cycle top style t shirts (black), black body armour and a carriage vest instead of a belt

                            Does that help?

There is no standard uniform set for my job role, it differs from force to force as the ultimate desicion is down to the Chief Officer for that force.

Part of me finding the uniforms cute may be that I know what kind of sense of humor (the fun get in trouble kind) usually goes along with it. Either way though, it doesn't sound like any worse then a regular uniform which is to say not that bad at all.

*cough* Not all marriages are monogamous. Not to say he wasn't scum, but insufficient evidence he WAS to condemn him to Hellfire. If said wife didn't slap or object, they may well be consensually non-monogamous. Bit much to condemn him to eternal damnation over that.
