Either way though, it doesn't sound like any worse then a regular uniform which is to say not that bad at all.
They're ok until you put on THE COAT.

I have yet to see a well fitting coat and am curious to see the simian they based the chest size/arm length ratio on. Nothing from this planet I'm sure.

One day I'll get round to putting a decent picture of the uniform on here but whoever it is will have to have faces blanked out etc.
A PSA, if I may, as well as another.

Still don't believe that it could be all that bad. Have yet to see a horrible police uniform. I keep telling my friend he should just flash his gun and then ask them out instead of asking them out first. He keeps trying to explain to me why that's wrong. I keep refusing to see it from his point of view.

I never get hit on at work, except maybe once in a great while by yucky older men. Most of our customers are of the 40+ female/families/elderly folks so that may factor in. I'm a little shy towards strangers.. takes me a bit to warm up to someone I've just met (I will make minimal small talk with customers just to be polite but that's about it) so perhaps that's why as well.

Sometimes it makes me feel bad that I don't get hit on more, since I do think I'm fairly attractive, but maybe most men are just too shy. (See my sig for a link to my Myspace, you can see a pic of me).

              I don't have a gun.

              Nor a baton.

              Nor handcuffs.

Well the overall uniform is black tie, white shirt (although the MPS have pale blue/grey), black trousers, where as a fully sworn officer has black eppauletts (sp?) mine are royal blue,

hat band (depending on force) can be one of the following
                  Royal blue
                  Royal Blue and white Check
                  Royal Blue with Reflective band
and your cap badge can either be the force crest or a 'shield' type with the words Police Community Support Officer (or words to that effect) emblazoned upon.
A fully sworn officers will be black and white check

Body Armour is Overt (not all forces issue it for PCSOs) and can range from black to High Visibility green with reflective bands.

Some forces issue Royal Blue ties for PCSOs
I have to admit, the PCSO uniform is not brilliantly attractive...

I have plenty of people who will agree, ours isn't too bad until, as I've said, you add THE COAT (of doom etc.) We are currently trialling a shorter version so we don't look like we're wearing very strange dresses.

*cough* Not all marriages are monogamous. Not to say he wasn't scum, but insufficient evidence he WAS to condemn him to Hellfire. If said wife didn't slap or object, they may well be consensually non-monogamous. Bit much to condemn him to eternal damnation over that.
The majority of marriages are monogamous. And I didn't mean that as a religious thing, more of a "if my husband did that to me, I'd kick his ass" thing.

Thing is, that did actually happen to me once. I was a teenager, and the creep and his wife were both old enough to be my grandparents, and so far from being my type he was practically from another planet. He was getting way too sleazy, and his wife just stood there and said, "Oh, he's just got a weird sense of humor." If it were a consenually non-monogamous thing, I think she would've said so.

I've never been hit on when at work. I don't get hit on very often in real life, tho my friends say I do but I don't realize it. Occasionally people will flirt with me. Last time I noticed being flirted with was at the beer store down the street. Unfortunately it wasn't until I left the store that I realized I was being hit on.

....'hit on?' What is this strange concept you speak of?
                              Some people are like slinkies,
They don't really serve a purpose,
But they still bring a smile to your face
When you push them down the stairs.
