For f***s sake, fat, skinny, three armed, whatever, people deserve to be treated with respect and decency. That girl simply isn't suited to retail. Retail is where you see people whose choices and appearance you will dislike EVERY SINGLE DAY, and you have to keep it to yourself.Deepak Chopra says, "Fear deprives people of choice. Fear shrinks the world into isolated, defensive enclaves. Fear spirals out of control. Fear makes everyday life seem clouded over with danger.

I'm curvy; I did at one point use to be large, but I'm curvy now. Being tall, I can carry it off, tho if I was shorter, I would count as big. I take, depending on the store, a size 16/18/20; and I have to say that if anyone was ever that rude to me, I would give them the works. I would demand a manager and I would ensure they learned the error of their ways.
I also would tell her to shut her cockhole before she said something to the wrong person. Not recommending it, but I do tend to say things without thinking.
I also don't get why some of these people pick fights with people who could crush them. Don't they have, you know, self preservation? Once down my local this girl picked a fight with me; I towered over her, was twice her weight and was wearing big boots. In retaliation to her pulling my hair, I socked her in the face, she fell to the floor. I still don't see why she decided to try and prove her toughness by taking on the big girl.

To hell with bras. I hate 'em. My boobs change a lot with my cycle, and one day a bra is fine, the next, it's too loose even on the tightest setting! I got sick of having to fix them everyday, and sometimes more than once a day to get it to fight right.
Now I just weark those tank tops with the built-in sports bra thing. I have them in all sorts of colors, so they double as an undershirt for most of the stuff I own too. Not to mention, they're cheaper than bras anyway!
Of course, being a skinny girl, I have that luxury where others don't : (

The reason people act like this is because they think everyone else is too polite and too civil to confront them to their face.
Practice proving them wrong.
I'm sorry you had to go through that.I cannot f
king STAND when people badmouth other people about their body shape or any other real or imagined physical "flaw." I dont' care if the person can hear or not. I don't want to hear it, I find it highly offensive.

Forget fired. That girl needs a good slap on the mouth.
still the evil side of me is happy at the outcome, that the bitch got fired. maybe at her next job she'll learn not to be a bitch
last time i got resized my sister helped me out. i don't think i'd ever want a sale's lady doing that on me.

Quoth Aethian View PostBut I will try a couple places people have pm'd me and just want some of you to know that this amuzed me more then hurt me. Sure it stung at first but unfortunatly I get to go in their Monday morning to drop off the mail. Dam there oes my saying to not come back. Or does it not count?
Quoth Aethian View PostDropped off their mail this morning as a piece off another route. SG no longer works there. FL is the manager and proprieter of that particular store. I walked out with a free bra and their outgoig mail. TG I'll be pleased to note got a pay raise for trying to handle the situation.
Second Girl's behaviour was not the fault of either Third Girl or FL. Sure, she was clearly a bad hiring choice, but that may not have shown at the time she was hired. If she's never before been seen behaving so badly to a customer, FL and TG had no reason to expect such rudeness from her.
In fact, I think I'd recommend going back. FL and TG seem like decent people, and I've found that having a good relationship with a bra shop is fantastic.
I'm an 18G (Australian) which I think translates to 42H US. I have a local bra shop who are very friendly and very helpful. They're happy to show me the catalogues they get from their suppliers, and I find something I want to try, we'll order one from the catalogue. If I like it after I've tried it on, I buy it. If not, they're perfectly happy to put it out on the rack - someone will want it.
It's a really good situation for me. I strongly recommend all 'big girls' (or even just awkward sizes) try to build a relationship like that with a bra store!Seshat's self-help guide:
1. Would you rather be right, or get the result you want?
2. If you're consistently getting results you don't want, change what you do.
3. Deal with the situation you have now, however it occurred.
4. Accept the consequences of your decisions.

I'm no featherweight myself; I don't buy undergarments from Target, WalMart, or any other similar store anymore.
I'll go to Frederick's of Hollywood. I have *never* been treated badly by them (in fact, they've always been very supportive!); it's worth the relative expensive cost of the underwear, just for the customer service.
I'm proud of you, btw. Two to go, good job!!!"Do not quibble with me over apostrophes. I have my shit together when it comes to apostrophes." - BookBint

I don't have an attitude problem. You have a perception problem.
