There are still some people that believe that Manx cats are really "cabbits", the offspring of a cat and rabbit mating. The rationale is that Manx cats have no tails (or just a stub of one) and the massive back legs they develop to compensate are the rabbit genes expressing themselves. I have a different POV. The customer in this situation was most likely the result of inbreeding. To them, if brothers and sisters can procreate together, so can other species of animals.

I think I ran into this person's cousin Monday when I came out of the hallway area and a customer was asking about the organic milk.

I showed her what we carried (which, is not much - one or two brands at the most) and thought that would be the end of it.

Boy, was that a Blonde Moment or what . . . she kept asking "But is it the same as the regular milk?"

After trying to explain to her that it was actual milk . . . I just flagged down the Dairy Guy, who was at the other end of the case filling cheese and asked him.

He even tried to explain to her that it's still milk. But she kept asking "But is it the same as what's in the gallon jugs?"

I had to scoot away at the point . . . I felt several thousand braincells commit sideways.
