I guess this guy is a monster in her eyes, too.
    No, that's a demigod.

    Easy to confuse the two.

What an asshole! I would love to give that SC a good thwack on the head with a clue by four and a frozen trout. Aw hell with that, those aren't good enough. THIS will do the trick!

That makes me feel sick! I'm ashamed to be a member of the same species as that woman.

On the being forced to wear gloves. All the coworkers should band together and wear gloves, too. I bet management would feel pretty silly if everyone on staff's wearing gloves.

I love this idea! Just don't anyone wear only one glove and try to be Michael Jackson, 'k?

It'd suck royally if CR does end up losing his job over this bitch's complaint, and I hope it doesn't happen.
Well, if that does happen, it sounds like CR has a good witness to help out his side of the case ^_^

Not much to update here. CR still wears gloves at work, though he doesn't complain about it. He has other things to complain about (like management being unwilling to give him any of the some 160 hours of vacation time he has racked up), and most of the time, we try to be more light-hearted when we talk, crackin' jokes and whatnot.

sounds like it's time to file some sort of grievance against gm with hr and look into filing a lawsuit shortly thereafter; what your coworker has been subjected to is unacceptable (at the very least).

i've read about psoriasis; it's an autoimmune disease and well beyond his control and the meds for it have scary consequences of their own.

he deserves a big hug and you deserve kudos for being supportive. i hope that gm gets what she deserves, that the 'customer' bitch *expletive expletive* gets much worse than that.
                      look! it's ghengis khan!
Sorry, but while I can do many things, extracting heads from anuses isn't one of them. (so sayeth the irv)

You're not. None of us here are. We're human. She's a walking turd.

And that GM isn't much better.

I don't think Management MEANS to pick on him, at least on the subject of vacation time. Part of the problem is we just don't have enough people for coverage, especially with FDLP, which is CR's job.

I agree it doesn't make it right, and from what CR has told me, it does seem like Management is jerking him around. He asks for single days off? Oh, it's less paperwork (or something) if he takes a whole week off. He asks for a whole week off? Oh, there's too many people asking for that particular week off.

Maybe he should see if he can just get the pay for the vacation time they won't let him take.

At my last job, if you didn't take your vacation time, you'd get the money in lieu of the time.

I think they do that, but I'm not entirely sure.

But everyone needs a vacation sometimes. The money's not the only issue.

I could sure use one >_>

The closest thing to a vacation I've ever had at this job was a 6-day Weekend for XMAS, and that required some clever cobbling-together of banked vaca time AND an XMAS holiday falling such that it was observed either on Friday or Monday...

Meanwhile, my boss and his GF/Office Manager take 2-3 separate, full-week vacations every year, usually international, while poor-mouthing me about how he needs to with my commish, reduce my hours, or keep staff at skeleton crew levels due to lack of available funds...Right after he purchases a million-dollar office condo (for subletting purposes)...
