She tells me this little gem: "I just want to let you know, I don't pay full price for anything. Sorry."
You know, I rarely pay full price either. Because I shop at places like Goodwill, go through sales racks, and use coupons. You know, the normal way people save money. I didn't know I could just walk up and declare that I don't pay full price.

If she said that to me I'd be so tempted to say something like "Our sales rack is right over there" or give her directions for the nearest used clothing store.

I rarely pay full price, either - because clothes simply aren't in the budget. Except during tax time.
Customers should always be served . . . to the nearest great white.

And this type of behavior is exactly why we (as Customer Service reps/associates/whatever) need to TAKE BACK OUR POWER.

Don't know how - seeing as most management have no spines... but seriously, she TOLD YOU she wasn't going to pay full price?!?!!?

Customer service goes a long way you little bitch. you need to go to school and learn how to treat customers that make sure you get your check.
guess she didn't go to school for manners and respect.

Many times, I'd love to say, "I AM happy to have a job. I'd be happier if you let me DO my job!"
It's little things that make the difference between 'enjoyable', 'tolerable', and 'gimme a spoon, I'm digging an escape tunnel'.
