New inch of snow this morning to make my drive from the country back into the bigger city to get my hair done be miserable.

I'm so sick of white knuckle driving. And if I see that stupid "low traction" warning again, I'm gonna scream.

And...2 to 4 more inches tomorrow, and another forecasted bigun Monday.

I'm about ready to tell my parents, when I have to take them to the train station on Wednesday the 27th in Minnesota, if it's snowing at all, I'm not going. The image I had in my head a month ago was that by now, it'd be nearly 40-45 every day and melting snow.

I recently spoke to Old Man Winter. He told me, and I quote, "Fuck that groundhog. I still got six weeks!"

My groundhog theory is this. If I figure out that they are hauling me out of my cozy little den to use me as a prognosticator, the accuracy STOPS. I'll wiggle and avert my eyes or stare frantically around me until I see that shadow, but I'll do it randomly; sometimes I'll be right, other times wrong. Surely even stupid humans will figure that out eventually?

It snowed some last night after I went to bed.

Guess I get to haul out the shovel when I go in to work a little later. Joy.

We're in a melting pattern rihgt now...umtil ti rains or snows Monday that is. There's a 50/50 chance it could do either, according to the local news...which probably means it'll mix and turn to complete ice. Yay.

I had to go to urgent care last night......on top of the fact it was after "regular" business hours, meaning no plowing......

We got 4-5 inches of snow overnight.

We get a break tomorrow. And we'll see what happens Monday. So far, they are predicting 6 inches at least.
